A little black box my secret home

To hide from the world in which pains roam

I hide from the pain you have caused for me

Oh, why did I open myself up to thee?

I never trusted at least not until you

The friends I had were far and few

My secrets enough to build up walls

My life full of dark and empty halls

These secrets of mine with you I shared

I always knew that life wasn’t fair

But how painful I never knew

I never knew pain till I loved you.
