This honestly has no hidden meaning. The first lines merely came to me and the rest flowed along with it.

I wrote a stupid poem today
And left it on my desk.
You came across it
And read my soul
Telling me
I was amazing.

I took my stupid poem
Crumpled it,
And threw it away.
I didn't look
At your sad face
Because I knew
You'd never be
Disappointed in me.

But I am.
And that is why
This stupid poem
Remains unfinished.
