Prologue

Over 800 years ago, the world was in a state of world-wide war. There was much death and destruction and none of the 5 sides wanted to give in an inch. Swords, spears, bows and arrows and many other weapons were being made in full force. It was a very harsh time to live in.

The world was divided into 5 races, human, dragon, vampire, elf, and dwarf. Humans were loyal and strong in magic. Dragons were smart and very strong. Vampires were clever and fast moving with the sword. Elves were graceful and could move faster than the humans and do weak magic. And dwarves were brave and strong with axes.

The races were well-matched, no side getting much lead over the other. However, the leaders of each race tired of this seemingly constant war and wanted to make peace. They all got together and signed a peace treaty that was copied 5 times and given to each race.

Their plans were to divide up the land and give each race one continent. The world had 5 large pieces of land, separated by the ocean. The middle piece was given to the humans, because of the easy terrain with out too many hills or mountains. The elves got the land to the east, because of its lush forests and many types of animals. The dwarves got the land to the west for it was filled with caves and mountains and great places to mine. The dragons got the southern-most piece for it was many just a group of islands, rather close together and gave them much room to fly around. And the vampires got the northern-most land, it had 18 hours of night due to the fact it was so north.

A peace was established and technology flourished. Now, we have high-tech computers and hover-cars and many other great improvements. It was truly a happy time.

The peace lasted for about 720 years until something appeared that tried to disturb that peace. Something bent on destruction…
