Ashes to Ashes,

Dust to dust,

Sins are sins,

Lust is lust,

Bring me back,

So I can love,

I never wanted to leave,

I just wanted a hug,

So give me back

What I have lost,

Scrape the windows

Clear of frost,

Erase the fingerprints

You have left,

And give me part of the moon,

But keep the other half.

Tear me away, from the spiral that binds,

I’m the first leaf to fall,

So weak I feel in my mind,

I fall to my knees,

So hug me close,

Give me the poison please,

I never wanted to die,

But I wanted you most,

You can’t give what you don’t have,

So don’t lie to me and make this the past,

I died because of you,

You strangled me and deprived me of love,

But you can’t give what you don’t have,

And your love was imaginary shattered fragments,

Shoved up your ass.
