I shed tears of scarlet,

Fading silver as they slide down my cheek.

I cry for you.

You avoid me.

Then I cry with you.

Like the ink on my hand,

I fade till there’s nothing left,

And like the ink on my hand,

You grow into my skin.

If I die of poison,

Because of ink,

Then know I’m happy.

And if you ever die,

For whatever reason,

I hope you were happy,

And that you’ll never cry like I cried.

I’m sorry.

I’ll let you be.

Whatever you do, I’ll be here.

I’m not going anywhere.

And that’s the way I’ll be.

Be safe.

Don’t leave me.

I’ll always worry about you.

And I’ll always shed

A scarlet tear.
