A/N: "Ashes of cranes" was a poem I wrote when I read a poem that I understood due to a connection with that person. "Missing You" is a poem I've written now that the connection has been severed and I no longer understand what she's saying. If it sounds a little bitter, it's because it is, but only because of that nagging sense of loss. Read and review, if it please you.

"Missing You"

A word, miss, if it please you,
Before I part for good;
I've said I'd never leave you,
In truth I've thought I should.
Please know I won't stop caring
For this wretch in endless plight,
But a moment comes when caring
Requires understanding--Quite,
With so much pretentious babel--
You scoff when I can't hear,
And tell me you're a loner,
When you used to keep me near.

But should you finally speak your mind,
For you, I'll not be hard to find.
