A/N: Sorry about the long time no update! I’m a horrible person. It hopefully won’t happen again. Please review to motivate me to write more!

Kayan woke to a sick-sounding groan from next to him. He rolled over. James was looking very green. He had horrible reactions to alcohol. Kayan knew he was trying with all his might to keep the contents of his stomach where they belonged. “How you doing, love?” Kayan stroked the hair from James’ eyes.

The older boy groaned again, furrowed his brow and trying to shove his face into his pillow. “Don’t talk.” He grunted. “Hurts.”

“Oh, baby.” Kayan whispered, running a finger down his cheek. “Come on. I’ll help you to the bathroom.”

“Don’t you hate me?” It was obviously painful for James to talk. He clapped a hand to his mouth and groaned yet again.

“Shhh. Be quiet. You shouldn’t have drank so much.” Kayan climbed out of bed and pulled his lover into a sitting position. “Come with me.” Looping an arm around James’ waist and again praying he would be able to support most of his own weight, Kayan guided the older boy to the bathroom.

They got there just in time. James dropped to his knees and retched in the toilet, arms wrapped around his stomach. The younger man gently pulled his hair from his face and stayed with him until his retching subsided. They went back to the bedroom, where Kayan told him over and over how much he loved him, and that he was sorry he lost his temper.

“You’re forgiven.” James grunted, pulling his lover close. “I love you to, Sunshine.” He placed a hand on the younger man’s thigh, stroking it slightly.

A fluttery moan escaped Kayan’s lips. “You want to… don’t you?”

“Hell yes. My hormones are saying yes, but my body’s saying no. I don’t think I can.”

“That’s ok.” The younger man held him close, rubbing his back gently. He paused suddenly. “James, you’re so tense. Are you alright? Your muscles are all in knots.”

James sighed, pressing his face into his lover’s shoulder. “I’ve been pretty stressed lately. I guess it’s just getting to me.”

“I’d say. Lay on your stomach.”

“Why?”

“Just do it!”

Sighing again, the older boy rolled onto his stomach. Kayan straddled the small of his back. “Relax, ok? Just relax.”

“Trying.” James said rather irately.

Kayan pulled a bottle of massage oil from the nightstand. He had bought it in anticipation of just this. Rubbing some of the oil on his hands to warm it up, he started to massage his lover’s back.

James yelped as the younger man’s fingers dug deep into his sore body. “Kayan, stop! That hurts!”

“Shh. Relax. It’ll feel good soon.”

As Kayan continued to work the knots out of James’ back, the older boy started to moan. Softly at first, but then louder. This was making him very aroused, and he didn’t know why. Kayan was aroused also, his erection started to dig into James’ back as he began to rock back and forth a bit. He started to moan as well, and the sounds both of them rose and fell together, as if from one person.

They collapsed, panting together. “You’re right.” James said. “That felt good.” They kissed each other deeply, but when they pulled back, Kayan was crying. “Sunshine, what’s wrong?” The older boy pulled him close as his body started to shake violently with sobs.

“I-I-I’m scared.”

“Why? Oh baby, why are you scared? I’m right here. I won’t let anything happen to you.” James tried to dry his tears, but they came too fast. “Shh. I love you. I’ll protect you. Don’t be afraid. I love you.”

“What if Nick comes back to hurt me again?”

“Shh. Baby, he’s not gonna come back. You’re safe with me. Don’t even think like that.”

“But I’m scared.”

“Don’t be.” At that moment, the doorbell rang. “I think I’d better get that. Come with me, Sunshine.”

Kayan clung tightly to his boyfriend, still sniffing, as they got up to answer the door. They were both surprised to see Hayden and Bengal standing there. “Came to see ya.” Hayden said cheerfully. “Because I decided to go straight too. Now Dimitria leads the gang. I wanted to look after this baby.” He stroked Bengal’s hair gently.

“I knew you would sometime. Come on in. I have no idea where Melodie, she hasn’t come back from last night yet.”

Hayden pulled Bengal in and closed the door. “Hey, Kayan.” He used a sweeter tone to speak to the younger boy, especially when he saw how upset he looked. “You ok?”

“He’s not quite recovered yet.” James said softly, rubbing Kayan’s back a little.

Hayden looked at the blonde kindly. He knew James had always, and would always, love this beautiful creature. This angelic boy with golden hair like solid sunlight and clear blue eyes like the sea after a storm. He was so pure, would always remain pure. He knew Kayan was the only person who had ever made James smile, or laugh, or cry. The only person James had room for in his heart. The only person he would hold close to comfort, the only person he would speak to in a kind and caring voice, the only person he would never be angry with.

Bengal was none of these things, but Hayden loved him anyways. The Spaniard was also looking at Kayan. “Let me talk to him.”
