I love the way your eyes speak to me,

with incandecent glows and soft sounds,

but then rush,

roaring, like a flow

to the depths ofmy soul.

Your eyes drill into me,

like unceasing sunlight,

that penetrates the crevices

of my shadowed heart.

The love I have for you is something dark,

and wild,

and uninhibited.

It runs rampant,

like the spread of a blaze.

I love you blindly,

with my eyes closed to all others;

In the details of themselves

I will not indulge myself.

But I love you undeniable.

Like the truth I found,

looking over a city

bathed in waves of smog,

and blinking lights;

the truth that at night,

the lake is a black abyss,

and when meeting the sky it is seemless--

no beginning.

no end.

it is infinite.

I love you,

like that.
