Hope

I’m never going back to the way I was before
But at least I moved on
Or I tried to anyway
I know soon I’ll succeed

I’m still indecisive to take the next step
But I’m getting there in a while
I’m going to need to take baby steps
Before I can walk

I haven’t lost my hope yet
Isn’t that grand?
I’ve had enough of the darkness
looming on my horizon

I’m still insecure about my emotions
But I know this burden
has been lifted off my shoulders
And I thank them

I can’t forget the memories
And that my guardian angel is gone
The ghosts are still there
But I can move on
