1Fortress Infinity
Stately rows one upon one, stone stretching to the sky
One hundred years, decay and crumble, it is time to die
Turrets tumble, walls are breached, so goes life's tragedy
Purpose served and body wasted, now naught but a casualty

How dare bells hang in tower, never more to ring their knell
When in this place so long ago the brave men fought and fell
How dare the grass grow green, the oak tree straight and tall
How dare we walk across this grave, how dare the birds still call

We are alight with flame of spirit, granted time by divine power
But all too soon we turn to dust, exhausted is life's hour
Fall sallow into oblivion, with so precious little left to show
But those whom found their strength in us, our virtues they will know
