You keep breaking my heart,

But you can't see that,

You say you love me,

But you can't mean that.

I gave my heart to you,

And though you'd keep it,

I gave my world to you,

And you just smashed it.

I put you before everyone else,

And always came in second,

All I wanted was your time,

But you'd tell me to wait a second.

I've cried so many tears,

And I’m drowning,

I've wasted a year,

And I’m drowning,

Please help me I’m drowning,

Please save me I'm drowning.

I'm starving for your attention,

Just a few scraps; just listen,

I shout your name but you can't hear me,

I cry for you to listen, please listen.

You say you love me,

Then you leave me,

You turn your back on me,

Is it so hard to hold me?

to be with me?

to love me?
