She was sure she was drunk, slopping drunk. And well aware that when she was drunk, stupid things happened. But she resisted her friend's sober pulling arms. There was a pale skater that she couldn't get our of her head. And she needed to deal with that, at least if it didn't go well she could blame it on the booze.
