Crystal Blue Moons
A blue moon, a silver moon
Upon a crystal lake of dreams
Filled with tears and drops of blood
From life's broken seams
-------------------------
Stay away, I need you not
On this day of shattered rainbows
Raining from a darkened sky
To soak the one who knows
--------------------------
Love in all its cursed forms
From looks of lust to hate
Spilling from sweet, poisoned lips
A feeling to suffocate
-------------------------
Steel wings drenched in crimson red
In places feathers torn
From a soul with eyes of amber brown
To the devil sworn
-------------------------
No more smiles warmed by the sun
Or moons of crystal blue
No more amour upon the pages
Making me and you
