With Tingling Lips and a Beating Heart

With tingling lips and a beating heart
Is how you leave me standing,
Your fingerprints marked upon my spirit,
Still through my mind you’re meand’ring.

I think of your face, your torso, your legs,
I remember your lips on my cheek,
I ponder the love that the both of us share
And those feelings leave me rather weak.

I think of your joy, your honour, your passion
And realise the blessings I gain.
The sun shines bright from within my soul
Where previously the clouds formed with rain.

Those tingling lips and that beating heart
Is a reminder of how I’m in love.
