Self by Kitten Lemonade

Sorry, I got ticked one day, so here's a rant!

Without this face

Would you look at me like that?

If I wore different eyeshadow

Would you take me more seriously?

That’s too bad

This is who I am

Who I will always be

If you can’t deal,

Too fucking bad

I will always have dark shirts

I will always have black nails

Unless they’re orange

I will never let my pride fly

But I will live

I’ll persevere

I’ll never relinquish myself

And become which I’m not

Because without a sense of self

Without some self acceptence,

No one can understand

No one can love

How can you love something that doesn’t know

What it is?
