COLORBLIND

You say love is blind

Is it colorblind too?

Do I dare not walk down the street

With another man who looks completely different from you?

Cold stares and dark glares

Whispers heard here and there

Its hard to forget the past & present

Sometimes I wish we were in heaven

I can not forgive what the devil has done

But I can forgive those living under this very sun

Cursed to believe color is a boundary

When only it makes my heart stronger with every form of negativity that surrounds
