Will I ever see you, my love?

Will I be able to grasp your face?

Will I be waiting forever, love?

Will I go to waste?

No one really notices

But I grow weaker with each day

As do you, my love

Our sanity slips away…

Walking through life,

I feel incomplete…

I’m tired of the constant feeling

To hurt, to weep

I want to creep into your mind

Possess your every thought

Swim in your emotions

See the love I have sought

I want to fall asleep in your arms

Listen to your heartbeat

Look into your eyes

And see you staring back at me

Nobody believes that we’ll get through this,

But I believe otherwise,

I won’t let myself be force-fed lies and ‘advice’

We’ll make it, love

I know…

This love, I don’t plan on letting go…
