Hope is gone

Without me knowing it

Fighting without a desire to win

I have already lost

I promised I would do my best

Pledge to keep the fight until the end

Swore loyalty to my words

And I have failed

I have given up the fight

I see triumph too far away

My meek hands that stretches out to reach it

Have forfeit and coiled back

This reflection creates anxiety

The image is something I hate

A boy shivering in fear

Too coward for the next step to make

When did this hope abandoned me

For at that moment I am weak

Every second sinks me further
