Lighting Up my Destruction

My wanting is for the sun to quickly set
So I can be alone with my destruction.
Where I can hack away at my skin
But no one will know - - -
Until…
The sun rises
Once more.
I then have to freeze the stares
Answer to their hateful eyes,
Answer to their questioning lips.
Then, when I'm ready to give it up,
I run into his eyes that fill me up
With passion.
I know I'm safe just then.

I feel your love
You melt away all destruction I've caused
And the sun begins to set.
