Hey readers, I’d just like to say that the first couple of chapters are going to be from two different points of view from two of the main characters in my story…. you will see why as you go along. ) Enjoy. God Bless x
Hannah’s POVHannah was running extremely late for her biology lesson yet again. Not only had she been up extremely late doing her assignment but also her alarm hadn’t rang that morning, so she rushed to get to school and had left that very same assignment on the kitchen counter. She had also missed morning sign-in for the third time this week, which only meant one thing…
”Detention” The words rang at Hannah’s ears as she walked back from the school office. Great, another week of total torture She thought.
Hannah Kingsman wasn’t an ordinary teenager but you couldn’t tell from the outside. She was left abandoned by her single mother at a very early age of 8 months. Though she could not remember her, such an event happening in ones life would still leave the feeling of rejection upon them. Throughout the sixteen years of her life she had always felt it. She had no family except for her Aunt Grace who took her under her own wing when her mother left.
Hannah also felt rejected by most of her peers at school for she didn’t hang with the “in” crowd and wasn’t brain washed into dressing the same as them, like some of the clones at school did. She was an individual who had her own individual style, mostly skater-ish, for she did board most days.
The only people Hannah thought she could trust and rely on were her Aunt Grace, Mr simmons- the music teacher and her friends Jessica and Greg. They were the only people who really knew the “inside” Hannah, the one that was continuously tormented. However, one can only express a certain amount of pain to others. No other human could truly know her deepest pain…or at least that’s what she thought.
Why do I have to walk these corridors week after week and still feel this pain? Why do I have to continuously be tormented by these people who walk by me and sneer…why do I have to be in the same school as the ones who ‘have it all’?
Bump
“Ouch!” yelled a very annoyed blonde. It was none other than Chrissie- the most popular of the year and one of the main culprits to Hannah’s depression at school. Chrissie was beautiful and in Hannah’s eyes flawless. Hannah thought she was overly spoilt, but there was more to Chrissie that what Hannah’s eye perceived. “Would you watch where you are going? I’m not a standing lamp post!”
“Whatever” Hannah sneered.
”Do you know who you are talking to? You don’t just whatever to Chrissie Hempton” an on looker retorted. Hannah just simply rolled her eyes, flicked her side fringe in front of one of them and kept walking, wishing she would find an end to her road of life.
A/n Hey guys, okay I’m sorry that this first chapter might sound depressing (ha) but I was trying to delve into Hannah’s past and really try and make you feel what she feels so that you could understand her view. I promise after the POV’s it will get better! )
