Prologue:

The young boy ran so hard that his feet were pounding the ground each time they hit. His heart was racing and his short brown hair was blowing in the breeze. He carried a small package in his right hand. The shadow that was upon him got nearer and nearer. He spotted the doorway getting closer. He made one desperate leap and landed on the other side. He gave himself a second to catch his breath then slowly unwrapped the package. Inside in the silk were three jewels, a diamond, emerald, and ruby. He jumped up and sprinted towards the large manor on the edge of the field, which he had landed. He looked back one last time and walked inside.

The shadow waited while its master made his way towards the doorway. He had deep lilac penetrating eyes full of hatred. He stared at the doorway.

“So he got away did he?”

The shadow nodded. The man looked at the moon and made a solemn promise.

“Damn you! From this day henceforth, your family shall be cursed Nostrebor!”
