Prologue:

His long goldenrod hair whipped around him as he drove the hover scooter across the desert. Behind his machine was a pack of Slithers whose evil yellow eyes followed his every move. These reptilian creatures only resembling part lizards and snakes flew faster after the boy as he dodged another gunfire attack from their own scooters.

“That was close,” he thought to himself, “But if I don’t hurry. They are going to beat me to the doorway.”

He sped up the scooter and zoomed as fast as he could away from the angry creatures, which bellowed like lions as his scooter disappeared. They followed his cloud of dust and flew right past the large rocks, in which he happened to be hiding behind.

“Good” he smirked flying in the opposite direction as they flew further away, “I got them off the trail. Now for the doorway” he pressed his foot down on the gas pedal and flew ever faster towards another group of rocks that shielded a small valley. He flew the scooter downwards and landed it right in the middle of what looked like a deserted town of the twenty-first century. As he stopped his scooter her removed the helmet that had been on his head and shook his long hair out. His eyes, which matched his hair, glowed like gold as he piercingly gazed at his surroundings. As quickly as he could he removed his brown leather jacket and sprinted to the left of the town towards and old factory that had blown up. He ran over to the door and squeezed his way in. As he peered down from the balcony he could see exactly what he had come for.

“Looks like they have gone ahead” he said to himself, “I’d better change and then follow after. And right now before those damn slithers come back and it is too late for me to change the future” he frowned running down the metal staircase.
