Untitled
The grass turns green with envy
And the birds whistle with anger
As they see me kissing my girl.
The wind blows with fury,
Blossoms flutter and die
And pale white turns the pearl.
The cherries blush red,
And the clouds become grey
When they see me stroking her cheek.
The waters ripple with annoyance,
The sun burns with rage
And the magpie slams shut its beak.
The grass snake hisses sourly
And the trees bark with distaste
As they watch me holding her tight.
The earth becomes damp with sorrow,
The flowers close their petals
And the sky turns black with the night.
The owl hoots in pain,
And a comet bursts forth in wrath
As they watch me caress my love’s knee.
Bats shriek with self-pity
And animals turn silent
As they wish that they could be me.
