Beach Dreams

She stands stiffly on the edge looking for him along the sandy shore,

Imprints left in the sand, a love she once had.

She whispers his name, a tear rolls down her face warm and salty.

The waves reach out for her and call her name.

A figure appears before her, floating on air.

She lets herself go and falls gently into his arms.

They float away together, among the clouds.

Smiling at one another, with joy in their hearts,

and peace settling in their souls.
