Night Revelations
It is the stars at night
They reflect their shining light
Revealing the beauties of the day
Enlightening the obscurities of what we say
Creating paths never there before
The ones that were present, but even more.
When the rays of the moon
Open up the day but oh so soon!
The secrets hidden for one rotation
Slowly creep through the dark foundation
Of the night.
Are you sure you want to know
All the directions of reality?
Wouldn't you rather stare and see
And enjoy your own sweet entity?
No need to face the perilous feat!
You still have time enough
For you to still live in your discrete
Little world. Fit for nothing much
But memories.
I think this poem might be a bit 'messy'. I'm not sure if you can see the connection between the first part and the second ('Are you sure...?')...? Again, one of the first poems written by me...
A big Thank You to all the people who reviewed my last poem (When Jealousy Overcomes Love)! It's in the 'Love' section.
