The Mahout's Handbook

This is a (growing) series of poems inspired very very vaguely by elephants (yes elephants). They are not “about” elephants, because I have little or no knowledge of these creatures and no wish to pretend to do so. What I have done, quite experimentally, is to take the behavioral, biological or cultural aspects of the animal and to translate them loosely into aspects of human life that I (and perhaps, you) can relate to.
