I saw you,

Standing there,

Not knowing what to do.

I saw you,

Sitting there,

All alone.

I saw you

So I walked over,

And gave you this.

And smile.

So here goes,

Some people may think I’m stupid,

Some people may think I’m cleaver,

But you know I’m me,

Nor clever or stupid,

But funny and friendly.

Some people think I’m no good,

Some people think I’m useless,

But you know I’m me,

Nor useless or no good,

But helpful and kind.

You know me,

And I know you,

So if you need a friend,

Or a helping hand

I’m here for you.
