Humanity

The sun is our King,

Warm and loving,

Giving light and life.

The moon is our Queen,

Cool and distant yet

Still loving and giving life.

She protects hope

When all seems lost.

The stars are our Queen’s

Court of nobles,

The first to arrive

Get brighter with time.

When a good

Living being dies,

They join the court

And give us light

For remembrance.

The Earth is our mother,

From Mother Terra

All living things come.

The Creator is our father,

Without Father God

There would be no

Design or beauty.

We are all kin,

Where we live

Does not matter,

We must all embrace.

Yet we fight one another,

Claiming our King,

Our Queen, our Mother,

And even our Father

Are all on our side.

Are they?

Should they choose

Between those they love?

Only a child

Would make such a

Cruel request of its family.

And so we are children.

Lies within truth,

And truth within lies.

Humanity at its peak

And it’s downfall.

Asking for truth

That we already know.
