SANE OR INSANE?

The world falls away

Leaving me alone to stand

To teeter on the edge of insanity

Not knowing which way to fall

As the world around me begins to fade

I look around

And I lean forward toward insanity

The world of make believe

Is far more passionate than the real

And hte world inside my head

Becomes the only one I know

And the only one that cares

The world most live in

Becomes some kind of myth

Poeple make it sound like everything happened a long time ago

And only stories tell of its history

But no one knows the truth

For they all live in their own world

And I realize that I'm not the only one who cannot handle reality

And when this thought came upon me

I fell backward into sanity
