A/N: Hmm, I don't know where I got this wild idea. I'm kind of stuck in the middle of the update for my original story, The Legend of Demons and Elves. (Laugh.) So, just to help myself with developing new ideas, I wrote a song about one of my character's reflection based on his/her situation. Even though it is written in first person, it's not me who's talking, it's the character alright?

Never Say Forever

By: Mercury Angel II

---

I've always thought that I can be very brave

Until I realized that I'm same as you, equally afraid of being alone

During the nights without your presence

I'm just as lost as the stars

That hang in the sky somtimes shining, sometimes darkening

---

Unconsciously, outside the window, the sky has turned bright

Then realizing that the time of awakening is becoming longer and longer

In this foreign land without your presence

Only the cold wind accompany me in roaming about

I fear that my thoughts of you...cannot swim across this sea

---

Never say forever

Forever is a pledge too expensive

I cannot grasp it, or see it

Vanish along with the great waves it eventually goes

---

Never promise me forever

It isn't the tomorrow I'm looking for

The fact that you loved me is already enough

Even though in the end love had perished

Only thing I'm asking is to keep me in your heart

---

A/N: Yes, this song is supposed to be sad...because my character is facing a tough situation. (Ack.) I wish I could tell who this character is right now, but by doing that, I'll definitely spoil the story. For people who are reading my story, this song is very likely to come up in the next chapter.

Oh by the way, if anyone is interested, check out The Legend of Demons and Elves. It's sort of a long story, but the first several chapters are short and go pretty fast.

P.S. If you review for me, I'll be very glad to review for you!
