Lord, as I look to yonder's light
Surrounded by mine enemies
I call upon Your holy name
Protect me from the forces of evil
Protect me as I fight to restore peace
Let freedom ring once again
Bestow upon me Your holy love
Surround me in Your loving arms
When the bombs fly over head
When the bullets whiz past me
When all hope seems lost
Lord, protect me
As I face the forces of evil
Guide my hand
Let me be swift and true
Far away from my homeland
Lord, I am alone
Love me
Guide me
Protect me with Your love
Lord, this is my prayer
