Disclaimers ‘n’ crap: Haihai peeps! Wow, it’s been over a month and my first update is a poem. How typically me. This idea came to me while I was thinking about how many lost pet posters there are out there that get ignored every day. Actually, I saw one today near the Farmer’s Market. Sigh. Anyhoo, enjoy my return.

Can anyone hear me? Is anyone there?

Will anyone listen? Will anyone care?

Please stop and read this, if just for a sec,

And look around you and please, please, please check

To see if my doggie is somewhere near you.

He ran away last week, I just don’t know why.

Mommy said “calm down” so I wouldn’t cry.

My Daddy put posters up to try and see,

If anyone could find my doggie for me

And bring him back home safe and sound very soon.

Mommy and Daddy say that he’ll be fine,

That maybe he wandered to Broad Street or Vine.

All of this sadness is too much to bear,

But you’re just a stranger. You don’t really care

About some sad little girl’s poor lost dog.
