Scribbled Life's Work

Crowd says it's like I rap it.

Troubled and I hack it,

Prepackaged with double-edge vocab.

I'm a greased lightning rabbit,

Hopped up on the speed,

Of rhymed lines written.

Like Katrina, a hurricane,

Magnitude immeasurable, hidden.

Magnified immeasurably again,

And again and once more.

Feigned innocence cherished by loved ones.

Engraved missions of life and death,

And then some all in good fun.

Boys and girls and all the rest,

Sticks and stones may break your bones,

But bulls eyed words can burn your flesh.

Deafening tones of "he said she said".

And who's to blame? It's people like me,

With broken minds and stolen hearts,

Cash cows of the lyrical arts.

And I'm part of it all.

Take your best shot. Ready?

Three, two, one, draw.
