Nostalgia

Pretend you care for memories;
You left and now you'll scream for me?
I care so little for what was;
Can't lose myself to nostalgia!

I've no compassion; it is too lost;
And I care not for what it cost!
I suffer no more in silent pain;
I don't care that you call my name!

I'm unaffected by your pleas;
You never gave me what I need!
Why should I care where you did not?
I'll give it not another thought!

Pretend you know my misery;
You expect me to listen to your screams?
I suffered through, and now you must;
So empty, this nostalgia!
