Interspersed with Silence

Impressed, nevertheless
Name sounding grand in eulogy
Headstone of a gorgeous quality
Depicted as an innocent…
Oh, the lies they tell

Scream the everlasting
A joy of death’s embrace
Remembrance of a splendid day
Out of sight, such lovely myth

Imbecile, no interest
Slice away existence
Destiny, as was foretold?
My dear,
You are mistaken

Secluded grave, never spoke of
Your loss, fiend
Cast away your soul
Third party vote to a tight-run election
The statement you are making
Is cliché and overdone.
