Cynical Expressionism
Just a topical discussion of your
world evading world;
is this a prettied metaphor of a
world invading world?
And is your analysis so bitter
that you can't taste the sweet?
Loosemindedness tends to cultivate
a taste for the bittersweet,
it sounds so right right right
when you say it over and over.
See, I worked it out just by
forgetting and starting over.
(Are we straying too far from
academic reality now, or
do we know where we're going,
ladies & gents, and whores?)
You're so trained to respond to
everyone else's points of view
(which are recycled from another
person's mind, nothing's new.)
that you overlook the thread that
runs against the rest,
and try to explain, correctly (of course)
how it's irrelevant to the rest.
In a longwinded sentence, that's the
point of this topical discussion
of your world evading world.
But what's a discussion
if nobody has an alternative
to throw, and smash your theory?
Smash me.
