Bitter Pasture

When mistakes have been made

You’ll reap what you’ve sow

Bitter taste of failure is left of my lips

Flavor left by the fruit of the seed I’ve planted

A harmful seed that’s been left to grow

With its roots buried deep in your ground

Will decay every single fresh crop you have

And continue to until you have none

But somewhere beyond this bitter pasture

Is a meadow of something different

Waiting to be harvest

With the price of a long journey

The courage to leave your field

The dedication towards the long walk

The wisdom to acknowledge something bitter

Are the only toll needed for a better crop

If you feed from this bitter pasture

And your tongue is weary from its taste

Don’t hesitate to walk towards a new field

For your efforts won’t go to waste

Taste a pleasant crop once more

Don’t deprive yourself from its flavor

These kinds of fruits wait only

For those who longs for its taste

Authors Note:

Crap! I feel like I’ve used the word ‘taste’ too many times ; Anyway… I’ll be waiting for what comments you have. Review this please.
