Okay this is a poem that I really value so please don't flame it. Thank you.

Confessions

A swirl of colour makes you scream

The dark makes you shudder

You fear sunlight

What do you have left to go to?

What can you do if you have nowhere to go?

Can you ever trust anyone?

Will anyone stay long enough?

When will the spinning stop?

Delirious, you scream and cry

You go through this circus

The clowns and tricks

Lies and betrayal

Fake smiles, sad eyes

Bleeding hearts and souls

Unsure of who you are,

Realisations leave you cold.

You’re not who you think you are

You’ve worked so hard for nothing.

You’ve wasted your life.

Pins and needles in your arms,

Salty tears on your lips.

Red roses, green leaves

Black, starless nights

Confessions are spoken,

Lies are revealed

Friends are enemies

And enemies are dangerous.

Blood curling screams,

Sugar laughs.

White lights shining

Darkness is betrayed

What are you doing?

When will it stop?

Confessions to an empty silence.
