Good Morning

Dawn creeps slowly
over the thousands
of little green stalks;
speckled with crystalline drops
reflecting the drowsy rays
which illuminate their centers.

The sun breathes the desolate
Earth-once more-
to life.

Nuzzling Her tenderly,
feeling the cold and damp dirt.
Earth still shivers slightly
from the chilled night
that swiftly left
its unknown beauty
behind.
