Something I had to do for Bible class, but I think it's actually pretty good. About how even in the darkness that doesn't leave, still He is there.

Silent tears rolling down my face
"Come to Me, my Child."
Feeling so alone
"I'm right here."
Darkness of the night surrounding me
"Let Me share my Light with you."
Hugging myself in fear
"You're safe with Me."
"God, where are you?" I'm screeching.
"Oh, my Child, I never left you."
"No matter where you are
Or what you do,"
"Nothing at all
Could make me leave you,"
"Regardless what you think,
Or how you feel,"
"What you say,
Or who you are,"
"I've always loved you,
And I always will."
The darkness doesn't fade
And the tears never stop
But I am not alone
