Smiles

There are wishes and dreams;
There are hopes and desires.

There are words without thought
And thoughts without words.

All these live in my mind
Traveling at light speed.

They rush past my inner eye
Shining in new meaning.

Regret or fleeting joy
Glow around each one.

Remembering I sadden or smile
Wishing and dreaming that I could live it all again.
