The Secret Deep
Although I’ve seen, the world between, the Heaven and the Hell,
I do not say, I do not pray, I know the answer well…
I’ll tell a tale, about my trail, to find the secret deep,
I’ll try to be, sincerity, a promise I shall keep.
I’ll tell it thrice, I’ll be precise, for I might merely be,
The only one, the only son, who has unearthed the key.
I shall begin, I’ll tell the hymn, that will forever chime,
So as I must, I begin thus, as once upon a time.
I sought before, the priceless lore, to make the world undone,
Of evils such, and demons thus, who’ve stole my soul of one.
And in my search, I found a perch,a host of nightingales,
They sang a tune, of darkness gloom, but of hope that never fails.
They said to look, beneath the brook, where demons often go,
Always be fair, but be aware, of secrets long ago.
The shadow creeps, the darkness weeps, of age and ancient days,
I felt the cold, I smelt the mold, of death and corpse decay.
The feeling grew, of some taboo, that filled me with such fright,
Being below, I did not know, the feeling felt that night.
Although bidden, it was hidden, from eyes and open mind,
But plots unbend, and stories end, as I shall come to find.
And there I found, him in a crown, of bone and blood of men,
His fingers pressed, his mouth distressed, but evil was his den.
He felt of cold, with pain of old, that made so many bleed,
His skin was pale, his teeth of nail, but scarred with sinful deeds.
Beneath his eyes, were tedious lies, that tricked me once before,
But now I see, how it must be, to meet with him no more.
I said, “be gone, you’ve been too long, within my dreams and soul,
I took the bait, I’ve felt your hate, you must have reached your goal.
I’ve seen too much, of your death touch, which fills me with deep fear,
Serenity, Tranquility, are now what I hold dear.
I’ve made the choice, so hear my voice, I want no part in you,
Release me now, from sinful vows, where goodness is now due.”
“You are mislead,” he finally said, “And charge me with no proof.
You say I’m dire, that I’m a liar, that something is aloof.
But you have seen, the worlds between, and must know the answer
I hide the key, to eternity, of which none know but Cancer.
I must confess, you’ve past this test, with words and affection
But let us fight, on this last night, to guide you in direction.
“I do not want, your silly taunt, of such a holy key,
I want no more, of your great war, and use me as you see.”
“With words as such, I think I must extinguish you,” rang he.
“But if we fought, it’ll bring us not, to peaceful means,” said me.
“I don’t agree, as you can see, so prepare for a bleed,”
But all at once, he turn to dust, and ended his great creed.
From sparkling light, that shone so bright, I came upon a dove,
His wings did glow, of perfect snow, and perched on me with love.
It sang, “Hear thee, most humble he, who smote the greatest foe,
As you complete, your last defeat, there be more you should know.
You’ve conquered hate, with loving fate, of goodness and belief,
But search up west, for your last quest, to find the secret deep.
Now as before, for evermore, I begin my last ascent,
Of mountains high, where evils die, and no more of lament.
Soon at this height, I stood in light, surrounding none but me,
A voice soon rang, within my brain, of which I’ve come to see.
“Believe in dreams, believe in means, of such as in your sleep,
Recall the tune, of silent moons, singing of secrets deep.
And thus I’ve seen, the worlds between, the Heaven and the Hell,
I must now say, I must now pray, I know the answer well.
I never thought, I never sought, to show the light of truth,
That one night found, the hidden bounds, of hope within our youth.
Let teachers teach, and preachers preach, but none will ever find,
The endless sleep, of secrets deep, that wait within your mind.
