We will survive

Rise from the ashes

From the lowest low

We will reach for blue skies

We will continue

With our ways of life

Freedoms of belief

And of speech

We will carry on

Fight for those we have lost

We will never forget

The pain blind hatred has caused

never forget cries of innocents

Sobs of those left here on earth

But remember the joy

Our loved one’s brought

Let not the same hatred

The same impurity

Flow through out our country

And tarnish they’re sweet memories

We must remember yes

We must pay tribute

To those of the past

But we must carry on

Must enjoy what they fought

for us to keep

We should help one another

thru the immense pain

Not let the compassion

Stop in months to come

We must always remember

Our loved ones beyond

Oh god please bless

Our forever land of free

and home of the brave

America,

“We will survive”
