Untitled

There they were,

Standing in the rain;

With internal livid bruises,

Internal bleeding pain.

Hearts eclipsed,

A myriad of fear—

How much more must they live through?

How much more can they endure?

Tentative tears falling down,

They wonder if she’s gone.

Galvanized hope for a shadow in the distance,

But hope can’t last for long.

Abated trust will find them lost;

Emotions are now taut.

They stand in mist; silent, unmoving.

Not a thing is thought.

There comes the sun in the zenith

Destroying their peaceful horror.

They burry themselves in mourning,

While the hateful sun seems to glower.

Clouds are chased away,

But the gloom of loneliness stays behind:

One of their numbers is forever departed,

With spoils of grief left in kind.

A/N: I didn't know what to call this poem... what do you think it should be called?

Did you like my poem any? Constructive critisism is loved much by me. Please give it to me!! Review and I'll give you a muffin.
