Treat her gently
This delicate flower
She's fragile, you must know
Naïve and kindly
So full of love
Basking in the sun's soft glow
The blessings from above

Be her shelter
Through cruèl storm
If you love well as she
Heat may swelter
Cold winds groan
But if you love as she love thee
You'll never be alone

Lend your shoulder
To catch her tears
Pain of the memory
Gently hold her
Kiss her head
Lead her home and tenderly
Lay her down to bed

Love her well
This loving soul
So fragile, you can see
Come back from Hell
To your embrace
O, Heaven, can it be?
A smile upon her wilted face
Finally, she is free
