I buy a pack of cigarettes
Thinking that may help me
with my thoughts
to solve my problem
that is life
make up my mind
of what I want to be
How can we?
We are still so young
and they burden our shoulders
with this pressure
of
meaningless
value
Days gone by on dreams
of what we will (could) be
"Do you have a plan B?"
Plans are meaningless
ideas
of what could be
(will be?)
(might be?)
Do they ever follow through?
Is there a plan for life?
Like
a
storybook
A beginning
and an
end?
We die.
The end.
Too long ago to remember
the beginning
but people tell us stories
of when we were young
of childhood memories we do not remember
We cannot choose when to begin
but we can choose when to end
Shall I choose to end now?
(would that make me happy?)
Maybe I'll just smoke...
until I get cancer
And die
