There’s a space envelope of time
between your body and mine
Its resistance feather heavy,
the edges glowing with a passionate shine

And the trembling breaths I draw between,
when your eyes are drinking in all of me,
your lids stutter to reveal your soul
before we dive back in for more

It’s beautiful to feel your eyes searching,
to hear that your words will never hurt me,
to see the emotion on your face
the life you give to my nerves can’t be replaced

Pull me in closer, with words and silence
melt away the stares of violence
You ended the wait of who I was to become,
now let me show you what we can do as one.
