Breaking Down the Barriers

Ch.11 Perfect

OoooOoooOoooOoooOoooO

Wh-what? Why? What happened?” Shane asked worry etched into his face.

“Hey, don’t worry it’s nothing. My dad just needs a little breather,” Al said trying to reassure his panicking boyfriend.

“This is all my fault…,” Shane said looking down. “If I didn’t move here none of this would have happened,” tears silently slipped down Shane’s cheek.

“No,” Al said firmly and pulled Shane into a tight embrace. “Don’t say that,” he whispered, “I love you… I need you. I don’t know what I would do without you.” Shane sniffed and looked up into Al’s amber eyes.

“So can I stay for a bit?” Al asked smiling again. Shane nodded.

“I’ll tell my mom,” Shane said leading Al to the kitchen.

“Oh Al! It’s good to see you,” Mrs. Emmit said from the small table in the kitchen.

“Hello Mrs. Emmit,” Al said politely.

“Please call me Dana,” Mrs. Emmit said.

“Um, Ok Mrs.- uh, Dana,” Al corrected.

“Mom, can Al stay here for a bit?” Shane asked nervously. He knew his mother would say yes but… he was nervous for some reason.

“Why of course he can!” Dana said excitedly. Then her expression changed, “Wait, did something happen at home?”

“Well…, I kind of need a little space from my father right now,” Al said choosing his words wisely.

“Oh…,” she said quietly, “Why don’t you show him to your room Shane.” Shane nodded and grabbed Al’s hand and brought him to his small room.

It was a great deal smaller than Al’s own room but it wasn’t uncomfortably small. Shane’s bed was in one corner and a wooden end table was next to it with a small clock on it. There was a dresser on one side of the room and two windows opposite it. Across from the bed was a desk with a small television on it.

“I know it’s small but…,” Shane said looking down.

“It’s fine,” Al said resolutely as he wrapped his arms around Shane.

“The bathroom is across the hall if you need it,” Shane said pointing out of his room.

“Mmmmkay,” Al said lazily. “You know, there’s one good thing about his whole thing. I get to spend more time with you,” Al said burying his face into Shane’s neck. He trailed his hands down to around Shane’s stomach. “I love you,” he said nipping at his boyfriend’s neck.

“Al!” Shane whined.

“What? You know you like it,” he replied continuing up the back of Shane’s neck. Shane moaned softly and pressed his back against Al’s chest. Al smiled and whispered softly into Shane’s ear, “See.” Shane quickly turned around in Al’s arms and pressed his lips against his boyfriend’s. “I think that’s the first time you initiated anything,” Al said slyly pushing Shane onto the bed.

He fluidly climbed on top of his blushing boyfriend and attacked his lips. As his tongue slipped inside of Shane’s mouth Al’s hands slid down to the hem of the smaller boy’s shirt. Al’s tongue slipped in and out of Shane’s mouth loving the taste he found. His hands slid under Shane’s shirt and lazily drew designs around his navel. Shane moaned into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Al. As Al’s hands came up farther along Shane’s chest he pulled apart for air. It was only a short break though as he quickly went back down for more. Shane moaned loudly as Al’s hand came in contact with his nipple. Al smirked into the kiss as he drew circles around it. Shane moans soon turned into mewls. Then suddenly Al broke apart, his hand slipping out of Shane’s shirt and he straddled his hips. Shane whimpered at the loss of contact.

“We should really be doing our homework,” Al said standing up.

“But I don’t want to,” Shane whined softly. Al smirked and pulled his boyfriend up.

“Don’t worry,” he whispered seductively and kissed Shane quickly, “there’s more where this came from.” He went over to his backpack leaving his flustered boyfriend blushing madly.

You’ve been giving me too many things,” Simple and Clean began to play from Al’s pocket. He quickly took his phone out and flipped it open.

“Hello?”

“Hey Al, Where are you? I called your house but you weren’t there,” Clara said over the phone.

“Oh yeah… I’m going to be staying at Shane’s for a bit. I kind of had a fight with my dad,” he replied as he took out his homework.

“Oh this is all my fault!” Clara said distress evident in her voice.

“Clara, I swear if you say it’s your fault one more time,” Al threatened.

“Sorry,” she replied quietly.

“If you need me I’ll be here okay? Tell Jake too,”

“Okay, Oh I forgot, what was our English homework?” Clara asked back to her normal cheerful self.

“Lets see,” Al said looking through his assignment pad. “Pages 96 to 125 in I Am the Cheese,”

“Good thanks Al. I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said and put down the phone.

“Al,” Shane said as he climbed onto Al’s lap. “Do we have to do our homework now?” he asked his emerald eyes large and innocent, although his thoughts were far from it.

“I guess not,” Al said smiling as he practically tackled Shane.

Al groaned as he dropped his backpack on the kitchen table.

“Bad day at school?” Dana asked from her spot by the sink.

“Everyone has seen the article,” Shane said plopping into a chair.

“Oh sweetie don’t worry I’m sure everyone will forget about it eventually,” she said and hugged her son.

“The normal kids aren’t that bad. They only, you know look at us funny or something,” Al said resting his head in his hand. “It’s really the fangirls.”

“Fangirls?” Dana asked confused.

“Yeah the girls that obsess over guys making out and stuff,”

“Oh,” Dana said quietly, “I’ve never seen any girls like that.”

“We have a ton at school and the only way to get rid of them is to make them go into fangirl overload,” Al said tiredly. Dana looked at him questioningly. “It’s when they pass out from experiencing too much of what they love.”

“You mean that you…,” Dana asked shocked her son would do that in public. Shane blushed a deep crimson.

“Not that! We just do enough to make them pass out. You know like… kiss,” Al said waving his hands up in defense.

“Oh good. You had me worried,” she said laughing. “Why don’t you two go and do your homework,” she said standing up. Both boys nodded and headed off to their room.

“You know I think we should actually get our homework done today,” Al said smiling.

“Miss Malone wasn’t very happy that we didn’t have it…,” Shane said a little unhappily.

“Yeah, good thing we caught her on a good day. She would have normally given us a week of detention,” Al said as he laid down on the bed. The doorbell rang and echoed throughout the house.

“Is anyone supposed to be coming today?” Shane asked. Al just shrugged and continued his homework. Footsteps were heard coming up the hallway after a minute and Dana appeared at the door.

“Al, it’s your father,” she said solemnly. Shane looked up at Al as if he were asking if he wanted him to come.

“Don’t worry I’ll be fine. You stay here,”

“Okay,” Shane said worriedly. Al smiled reassuringly. He slowly made his way down the hallway to the living room where his father was waiting.

“Al,” he said.

“Dad,” Al countered. His father sighed.

“I came to say…, I’m sorry,”

“R-really?” Al asked shocked.

“Yes, your brother made me see correctly. I was angry and I am sorry,” he said. “Your mother and I want you to come home,” his father stood up from the couch.

“No catch?” Al asked suspiciously.

“Well,” Al rolled his eyes. He knew there was a catch. “You can’t… do anything with him while we are around.”

“That’s it? I didn’t plan on doing that anyway. Do you know how awkward that is?” Al said smiling lightly.

“Go and get your things then,” his father said turning back into the business-like man that he usually was. Al quickly ran back into Shane’s room.

“I get to go home! He said he was sorry,” Al said smiling brightly.

“Really! That’s great!” Shane said happily. He ran up to his boyfriend and wrapped his arms around him. Al kissed him softly and wrapped his arms around Shane’s waist.

“Everything turned out perfect,”

The End! I can’t believe it’s done. Kind of lame ending I know but… I didn’t have any more ideas. Besides I already have like 2 more stories I want to write. I hope you guys liked it! Oh and keep an eye out for my next story.
