Her long flowing dark violet hair swirled around in the wind as she stared up at the sky.

She wore a simple sky blue school uniform with ankle high white socks and comfortable black dress shoes.

Her pale violet eyes were filled with worry on what is coming.

Why?

Dark grey clouds began to form in the clear blue sky. As the clouds began to cover up the clear and sunny sky, lightning began to strike; causing a loud, booming sound overhead the fairly large city below.

Soon, as the lightning continued to strike, thunder began and, oddly enough, the clouds refused to let rain fall. That's why the city folk only stood there, watching the sky with curiosity.

The girl's eyes widened as she watched the lightning become fierce and began to strike the top of the tall skyscrapers.

No!

The lightning continued and it began to strike the city's sidewalks and streets. It even got a few unlucky people, causing the people outside to scream and shout. Basically, stampeding over one-another to make it to somewhere they thought was safe from this lightning storm.

After a bunch of people finally getting inside of the many buildings around, the girl still stood in the same spot, her hair being blown fiercely in the gusts of wind. A strike of lightning crashed right before the girl, causing her to take a small step backwards while covering her eyes with an arm.

"Heh, you're rather foolish girl." a loud masculine voice said over the loud, booming thunder and behind the cloud of dust the lightning had created.

"Not as foolish as you are!" the girl replied. "Our savior shall come and she will rid you from our world; once and for all!"

"Heh, you know just as much as I that your little savior will not stop me!" the voice chuckled as a large man came out from the smoke.

He wore a large black cape that covered up his black suit of armor, his dark bloody red eyes appeared as though they were piercing through the girl's soul, and his snowy white braided hair swayed in the gusts of wind. He smiled a smile that was wicked in every way possible.

"You're wrong!" the girl denied as she raised her hands out in front of her. She began to mutter something under her breath before she shouted, "FIRE!!!"

Flames shot out from both of her hands and they were heading straight towards the wicked man.

"Heh, you're feeble attempts are worthless!" he called out as he blocked the flames with just his hands; his armor reflected the flames back towards the girl.

The girl's eyes widened in shock as her attack backfired.

No...

"Good-bye foolish girl!" the man called out as the flames neared even closer towards the girl as she just stood there; her eyes wide in fear.

The flames devoured the girl and the man stood there, enjoying the girl suffering her slow and painful death.

The girl let out ear-piercing screams of pain before they ceased, just as the fire did.

When the fire died out, there were only ashes left, but they were soon blown away by a gust of wind.

The man gave out a cruel hearted laugh as he stared at the spot where the girl had just been.

"Count that as a message to your savior and all of those who oppose me!" the yelled out as a strike of lightning stroke where he was. When the light from the lightning dispersed, the man was gone and all that was heard from the quietness of the city was his cruel hearted laugh being blown about by the wind...

Michelle: So...Anybody like it? It's short, I know, but it's only the prologue. I wanted to get some of you who'll actually glance at this to get into it. Besides, in mangas, they can be this short so bleh! I'm not making this into a story with 10 to a gazillion pages, but I am going to make the other chapters at least 5-7 pages long. You can count on that! I just didn't want to waist my natural talent on the prologue, so please don't be upset. I'll also try to update at least once a month, or maybe even every other week, at most and I'll try to reply to anyone's reviews. Oh, and I'll even accept flames since, sometimes, I think they're helpful. So when people only get good feedback, they won't be able to get any better; that's my theory, at least. Oops, sorry, I must be taking up too much of your time, blabbering like this, I mean. So, I'll just leave you all here and go back to my normal hobbies. I just so happen to daydream almost all the time and my friend Kazumi likes to tease me on what I daydream so much about. She always gets it right, too!
