Moving on

Struggling with life and school today,

Saying good-bye to old friends now.

None I truly trust, I dare say.

To loneliness, I will not bow.

Jaded and bitter I can’t help,

Truly, I wish for salvation,

And to trust other than myself

My wish is that one companion.
